How to Apply

Step One- PREPARE YOUR SURFACE

In order for FancyBugs Decorative Wall Stickers to stick, you need a smooth, dry and clean surface. In most cases, wiping with a damp piece of cloth and waiting for it to dry should work for a clean surface. If needed, Isopropyl alcohol works well to remove any dirt or residue that might prevent FancyBugs Decorative WALL ART stickers from sticking to the surface.

If you have freshly painted walls do not apply any FancyBugs Decorative WALL ART stickers until the paint has had significant time to cure – we would recommend 3-5 weeks. We know - it takes patience, but it’s better than applying FancyBugs Decorative WALL ART stickers to a wet wall.

Though we call it wall stickers they are not confined to just walls. You can stick them onto any smooth surface such as glass doors, window panes, ceramic tiles in kitchens, bathroom tiles, glasses , wardrobes, home appliances, etc,  just to name a few.

Step Two - PLAN YOUR DESIGN

To avoid designer’s remorse, place the design against the surface you are working on, to get a feel for the height and spacing. Be creative and do not rush!

Although FancyBugs Decorative Wall Stickers come in pre-designed demo cards, you can arrange the individual elements in the design you want. This is where you showcase your creativity.

Remember, our FancyBugs Decorative Wall Stickers are reusable - just peel the Wall Stickers off your surface and stick them on again. When you have repositioned the stickers, go back to step 1. Be gentle and do not rush when doing this.

Step Three - GETTING Your FancyBugs Decorative Wall Stickers On

Stick to your desired surface. Smooth one edge onto the surface first, to avoid wrinkles and bubbling, and then continue to firmly smooth out the sticker from one corner to another. Next, rub firmly with a piece of cloth all over to ensure the entire sticker has good contact.

Ask for a helping hand if the image is bigger than you can handle.

Avoid getting fingerprints on the adhesive as this may reduce the adhesive hold.

Keep the adhesive backing free of dust, fibers or dirt to extend the FancyBugs life span.

Should the stickers not stick well, spray some water on the adhesive backing and stick them on again. Use a piece of dry cloth to rub them firmly in place. This is to fill the pockets of tiny bubbles with water so that the stickers can have better contact once the water dries up.

Ensure care is taken to stick FancyBugs Decorative Wall Sticker firmly onto the wall surface. If stickers are not completely adhered to the wall surface they may peel off and dust may interfere with the adhesive.

Step Four - VOILA! READY YOU ARE

You have just created a one-of-a-kind art exhibit. You can now sit back, relax and enjoy your work of art and wait for the compliments to roll in…
